Design Module
The Design module is used to:

Create or modify Materials, Plies, Offsets, and the Layup, i.e. all the composites-related aspects of the structure.

Work with sub-layups, thus separating the structural components.

The creation or modification of plies is achieved via well-tested methods of draping simulation, as the product incorporates core technology proven by hundreds of composites specialists worldwide since 1991, through the use of Simulayt's proven Layup Technology.

Draping options include Splits (darts), Order of Draping for different parts of the same ply, Fabric Size limitations, Seed Curve restrictions to follow specific structural features, and more.

Import FiberSIM *.fmd (*.fml directories) files, so that the Ply information is read into an existing mesh. The overall structural Layup is thus created.

Import PlyMaster spreadsheet data, so that Layup creation is automated for an existing mesh.

Save in industry-standard file formats.
