3D Creator optical CMM

A new addition to the range from Anaglyph is the 3D Creator system for inspection and reverse engineering. It is a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) that uses infra-red emitters and sensors to track wired or wireless probes of various sizes and shapes, according to the application. It uses software from well established providers such as Aberlink 3D, Rhino and PowerINSPECT from Delcam with links to all the common CAD packages such as Pro/E and SolidWorks. It is a portable system that can be conveniently set up anywhere in a factory or office and its wireless probe provides fatigue free use for long periods of time.

For simple inspection, it can be used it with Aberlink 3D software. For more complicated jobs a combination of the 3D Creator with PowerINSPECT is an ideal package, for inspection directly against CAD drawings from almost all the leading CAD systems. For reverse engineering, a most cost effective combination is 3D Creator with Rhino.
